Gerard Way and Jared Leto were disqualified from the Sexiest Female Catergory and heres what Kerrang had to say about it: "However, had we not disqualified them on account of being male, the top two positions in this year's Sexiest Female would have gone to Mr Gerard Way and Mr Jared Leto, respectively. We're sure both of them will be gutted to have lost out on this honour..."

Gerard said: "It's amazing to still be relevant. We say this all the time, but polls and awards don't really mean anything to us - but at the same time, it's nice to know that your fans support you enough to vote for you. That's really cool. We aren't downplaying it, but to us, the fans are awards. Still, we do divide people and we do divide people and we get that every year."
